Executive Director for Risk Management

Kevin Ugwuoke, B.Engr, MBA, FCRM, is the Executive Director for Risk Management at Fidelity Bank Plc and a seasoned banking executive with over 35 years of experience across banking operations, corporate finance, and enterprise-wide risk governance. He plays a key role in supporting the bank’s growth while strengthening governance standards across the organisation. His career includes senior leadership roles at Citibank, Access Bank, UBA, and Mainstreet Bank, where he led cross-border risk transformation projects, implemented governance structures across several African countries, and contributed to major syndicated finance deals in Nigeria’s telecoms and infrastructure sectors. Kevin holds a First-Class degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and an MBA with Distinction from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, and is an alumnus of executive programmes at Harvard Business School, Wharton, Columbia Business School, Kellogg School of Management, and Lagos Business School. He currently serves as President and Fellow of the Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria and President of the Federation of Africa Risk Management Associations, championing the advancement of professional risk practice across Nigeria and Africa.
