Mr. Mark Ugbomah is the CTO of R-Jolad Hospital and the Group CTO for the AfyA Care Group, a venture which invests in healthcare assets with a vision to make healthcare accessible and affordable by building vertically integrated healthcare institutions that serve every urban market segment through the creation and aggregation of hospital capacity and demand. He started his career with GTBank where he rapidly progressed to Head the Electronic Banking and Application Development team, implementing landmark digital banking platforms. In 2011, he joined HSBC UK and then Barclays UK in their Global Finance Technology groups, delivering data consolidation for financial planning and reporting. In 2018, he joined ConsenSys a leading blockchain and web3 software company, where as Head of Global Delivery Network he delivered the first Global Commodity Trading Finance platform on the Ethereum blockchain. He is a Computer Science graduate of the University of Lagos and has an Executive MBA from the Lagos Business School. He also has a certificate in Entrepreneurship from IESE Business School.
